● A single, unique ranch, or plot of land where Agaves are grown. ● The Agave is unlike most other raw materials used for spirits production, as it takes a minimum of 6 years before it is ripe, and can only then be harvested once, rather than producing annual yields. As such, the terroir - soil, climate, elevation, and other agricultural elements - can significantly impact the flavor profile of the end product. ● Each bottling of Lágrimas del Valle will bear the exact Rancho, and agricultural details relevant to that particular harvest - showcasing that terroir not only exists, but thrives within Agave spirits. ● This concept is very common in the world of wine, but less so in the world of spirits.
