INDABA Indaba wines, named after the Zulu word for “a meeting of the minds,” are produced in the Western Cape
of South Africa. The name symbolizes the country’s democratization process. he brand is Integrated Production of Wine (IPW) certified, which confirms their commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable practices in agriculture, manufacturing, and packaging. Indaba is also dedicated to social responsibility through the Indaba Education Fund (IEF). A portion of global sales supports the IEF, which funds early childhood development programs for the children of wineland workers. Indaba offers a range of fresh, juicy, and approachable wines, including Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Mosaic (a red blend). The grapes are sourced from various regions within the Cape Winelands, and the wines are consistently recognized for their value and quality. Winemaker Clayton Christians and his team work closely with farmers to select the best vineyard blocks for their wines.

RAATS FAMILY WINES Raats Family Wines, is a family-owned winery, based in Stellenbosch, South Africa, is known for its focus on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, with Bruwer Raats recognized as a leading winemaker in these areas. The winery emphasizes high-quality wines produced with a meticulous approach to winemaking, emphasizing the unique granite-based terroir of the Polkadraai Hills, which contributes to the distinctive character of their wines. Bruwer Raats is also involved in the WELL Project (Winelands Education of Living and Learning), demonstrating a commitment to education in the South African wine industry. SOULEIL VIN DE BONTÉ Souleil Vin de Bonté wines originate from the southern coast of France, along the Mediterranean Sea. The name “Souleil” means “sun” and “Bonté” means “goodness,” reflecting the brand’s sunny, feel-good ethos. Childhood friends Marianne Fabre-Lanvin and Thomas Delaude, both experienced in the wine industry, created Souleil with the goal of capturing the essence of an endless summer in their wines. Key wines are Le Blanc, a refreshing white blend, Le Rosé, a bright and breezy rosé, and Le Rouge, a vibrant red blend. A core aspect of Souleil Vin de Bonté is its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa, is known for its bright, refreshing, and easy-drinking qualities, making it a popular choice for warm weather and casual occasions. It’s often described as a light and zesty wine with citrus notes like grapefruit and lemon, and subtle grassy or green flavors. The wine is typically a blend, often including Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. While the Sauvignon Blanc is a popular offering, the Beach House brand also produces other wines, including red blends and potentially other varietals. For example, there is a red blend (Shiraz, Mourvèdre, and Viognier) known for its fruity flavors (blackberry, black cherry, blueberry) and subtle spice notes. The name “Kanonkop” comes from a hill where a cannon once alerted farmers to approaching ships. The estate is famous for its exceptional red wines, particularly its Pinotage and Bordeaux-style blends. A pioneer in Pinotage production, Kanonkop has a dedicated vineyard planted in 1953. Their winemaking philosophy combines modern science with traditional techniques, emphasizing hand-picking and careful barrel aging.
