Nardini Mandorla 100PF / 1.0L While almond aroma is well to the fore, Nardini employs a cherry distillate to balance the nut’s naturally bitter flavor. Mandorla has a slightly sweet aftertaste, making it a natural first-time grappa for those new to the spirit. Excellent as a sour or an Alexander. ACQUAVITE DI VINACCIA BIANCA GRAPPA Made with the pomace of Pinot, Tocai, Merlot and Cabernet grapes from the Veneto Region, this grappa is produced in a traditional discontinuous, vacuum packed steam still. It is transparent and crystalline in color with immediate, generous fragrance, and dry on the palate. The most widely distributed grappa in Italy. 50% alc. 91 PTS Wine International April 2006 Camerino Recipe Grappa: Italy’s Firewater The potent firewater called grappa (literally “grape stalk”) was originally produced in the mountainous Friuli region, and has anesthetized generations of Northern Italians. Grappa is made from the fermented leftovers of the grape-crushing wine process. While it may not sound that delectable, the clean and fragrant flavour of the drink is utterly enchanting. Shake all ingredients. Pour into a frosted martini glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and cherry. The vanilla comes through delightfully. TAGLIATELLA LIQUEUR An infusion of grappa, cherry juice, orange and other natural, aromatic components of the dierent liquori made at Nardini. Tagliatella is fruity with predominant aromas of cherry and a bittersweet finish. It makes an excellent grappa-based cocktail when combined with citrus and summer fruits. 35% alc.
