12 Year Age Statement

● A true 12 Year Age Statement - all Rum has been matured for a minimum of 12 years, with all aging occurring on-site at the Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados, under a tropical climate. ● Tropical aging results in very high evaporative loss - between 5-8% annual - making the impact on concentration of flavor substantial. ● While many may refer to this as a “Dark Rum” this is an “Aged Rum” - Dark Rum can be achieved with the addition of caramel coloring alone, whereas this derives its color primarily from aging in Ex-Bourbon Barrels.
