Isidora Goyenechea was born in 1836 to a family of prominent silver miners in northern Chile. She married Luis Cousiño in 1855, with whom she had seven children. Luis died in 1873, leaving Isidora with the challenge of raising their family and becoming steward to a group of companies ranging from coal mining to winemaking. Her contributions to philanthropy and the development of the arts have added to her reputation as an outstanding feminine figure in the history of Chile. VINIFICATION : 100% Sauvignon Gris planted about just 40 minutes south of Chile’s capital city of Santiago. PALATE : Isidora Sauvignon Gris presents a bright and clean yellowish color. In nose we can perceive aromas that remind us of peach, fresh pineapple and floral notes. It has a high acidity in mouth and peach notes are confirmed. It is a fresh wine with a long lasting mouthfeel. FOOD PAIRING: Perfect pairing for sweet and sour ceviche, shrimps, salmon carpaccio, pasta with seafood and any type of salads. Also ideal for drinking without any specific pairing, by itself and in good company.and honey baked brie with figs.

For over four generations, the Catena family has grown vines in the foothills of the Andes Mountains in Mendoza, Argentina. Laura Catena, great-granddaughter of winery founder Nicola Catena, has created a richly textured Chardonnay blend with floral notes, ripe tropical-fruit flavors, a strong mineral character and excellent acidity. Catena Chardonnay is sourced from three of the family´s vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and Tupungato. VINIFICATION : 100% Chardonnay. Aged 10-months in combination of new and 2nd use French oak barrels. PALATE: The Catena Chardonnay combines the unique expressions of three high altitude vineyard sites. The wine shows an intense greenish color with yellow notes. The extraordinary combination of these vineyards offer honey and tropical fruit flavors while lending notes of citrus, pears, peaches, and white flowers with a strong minerality and a delicate note of vanilla. The mouthfeel is clean, with a fresh, clean acidity. FOOD PAIRING: A fantastic companion a variety of poultry dishes, dishes finished with a Nantua sauce, or to a rich seafood dish like Shrimp and Herb Risotto.
