Tamaulipas destilao de Agave is an authentic Mexican artisanal beverage, made in San Nicolás, Tamaulipas. Produced using traditional methods, the agave is ground using a trapiche pulled by a donkey. We use three varieties of agave: Cenizo, Verde and Lechuguilla, cooked in a cylindrical floor oven for 4 days. The agave pineapples are crushed with an axe and fermented in stainless steel vats for up to 14 days. The first distillation is in a stainless steel still and the second in a copper still fueled
