We started distilling our Acacia Honey-Infused Grappa back in 1982 with a local beekeper who showed up with a new recipe. Acacia flower honey is added to distilled Grappa: for every liter of Grappa we add a third of a liter of honey. …honey makes up nearly a third of a bottle of Miele. Piero, the beekeeper, is in his eighties and so energetic: he says it’s because he’s had a spoonful of honey and propolis twice a day. I don’t really know whether this can be scientifically proved, but I can honestly say he’s much fitter than I.
