MASSAYA LEBANON Massaya is a French Lebanese collaboration that began as recently as 1998. On the Lebanese side is Sami Ghosn, who was the owner of the Tanaïl Estate where the vineyards hail from, which is located at an altitude of 1000 m in the Bekaa valley. Massaya Arak El Massaya 100PF / 375ML (Necker) / 750ML / 1.75L Considered as one of the premium Arak producers in the Middle East, El Massaya Arak is made from only the best local indigenous grapes and aniseed.
NARDINI VENETO, ITALY Nardini is an Italian grappa that has been produced and bottled in Bas sano del Grappa, in the northeastern part of Italy, since 1779. Nardini has two distilleries and a bottling facility. Nardini Acqua di Cedro 58PF / 700ML Acqua di Cedro brings out all the freshness of the citron fruit, with its intense citrusy aroma. A clean, regenerating flavor like a gentle summer breeze. Pale straw-yellow with golden reflections. Distinct almond nuances come through on the nose. Intense and dry on the palate with a slightly fruity aftertaste. Nardini Virtu Di Rabarbaro 38PF / 700ML Exotic, aromatic and intense. A flavor packed with exotic Oriental scents, rich in subtle flavors with a characteristic brown color. Its aromatic profile is unmistakable thanks to the herbal notes of rhubarb. A taste to discover, a story handed down from generation to generation.

Château Musar L’Arack NV 106PF / 750ML From the storied Lebanese Château Musar, L’Arack de Musar is made from grape alcohol with an average age of five years. It is unique in that it is distilled four times with the addition of anise seeds during the 4th distillation, followed by one year of aging in terracotta amphora’s which contribute to its liquorice aromas. The additional distillation results in a very pure, sophisticated, and easy to drink Arack. Smooth, sweet, and clean, it can be enjoyed without water. 4-1/2 Stars Difford’s Guide OJEN LEGENDRE USA, LOUISIANA It was a revival years in the making, with the utmost attention given to recreating its unique flavor profile, but when the Sazerac Company re-released Legendre Ojen in 2016, they had revived something “as close as possible to the original.” Ojen Legendre Liqueur 84PF / 750ML Ojen is an anise liqueur, inspired by a Spanish spirit produced in the 1900s that gained popularity in New Orleans as a Carnival time favorite. “We think it’s cool that we can bring a piece of New Orleans around the country.”
MANDORLA E ZENZERO INGREDIENTS ¾ oz Nardini Mandorla 1 Tbs ginger honey syrup 3 pieces of clementine or tangerine 3 oz Prosecco ½ orange slice garnish DIRECTIONS
Muddle the fruit sections with the ginger honey in a Boston glass. Add ice and slowly pour the Prosecco while gently pulling the flavours up with a bar spoon. Strain and serve in a Champagne flute and garnish with an orange slice. — DALE DEGROFF
