BAILONI AUSTRIA Bailoni is heralded as the first apricot distillery in Wachau, Austria. The family-owned company has a rich tradition in distilling since 1872, within its original 350 year old building. The Wachau Valley has approximately 100,000 apricot trees with Bailoni owning 1,500 of their own, and support smaller regional farms in sourcing additional apricot needs. The silty soil in which the trees grow, called loess, imparts the ultra-sweet and juicy character of the fruit and the intense deep apricot flavor. In the spring the trees open their blossoms; an experience that contends with cherry blossom time in Washington D.C. or Japan. The apricot fruit that matures in late summer, mid-July to August, is packed with pectin, acid, and sugar. The perfect

Massenez Framboise Raspberry 80PF / 750ML The Frambois, could be considered their flagship product, the first to distill wild raspberries on a (small) commercial basis this product caught the fancy of the Queen of Sweden in 1913 on one of her many visits to the area. Massenez Kirschwasser Cherry 80PF / 750ML Massenez eaux-de-vie are double distilled, thus intensifying the fruit character. Approximately 20 pounds of fruit is required to produce one bottle of eau-de-vie. Traditionally, eaux-de-vie are consumed very cold, in a brandy snifter, after a meal. They can also be substituted for vodka in any mixed drink or can be mixed with club soda or fruit juice for a different aperitif. Massenez Mirabelle Plum Brandy Ean de Vie 80PF / 750ML An excellent traditional fruit brandy. This brandy is the result of assembling the choicest selection of plums and aging the result in oak barrels. The fruits used to produce Massenez Miraelle Plum brandy are round fleshy plums from the orchards of Alsace which ripen in October. Massenez Poire Williams Pear Brandy 80PF / 750ML G. E. Massenez Poize-Williams Pear Brandy is bod and sweet, with mouthwatering flavors of ripe pears infused into quality French Brandy. Aging in small oak barrels gives this liqueur a rich smoothness. Masenez Poize Williams Pear Brandy is very sippable, delicious on its own in a snifter to release the floral aromas. Massenez Poire Williams Pear in Bottle Brandy 80PF / 750ML G.E Massenez Poire Williams Pear Brandy is a characteristic bold yet sweet brandy. In the mouth, a very intense floral note gives great freshness. It has an intense fruity note, with an initial perception of fresh fruit overlaid by ripe fruit and marmalade or jam. Very prominent spicy endnote with a hint of Liquorice typical of Williams pear. The Prisoner Pear is fascinating due to both its quality of taste and scent, and its pear-shaped bottle, encasing the pear inside.
