Calvados is a protected appellation that labels liqueurs produced from specific local apple varieties under strict rules. PERE MAGLOIRE FRANCE Père Magloire Calvados is distilled from cider and protected by the Appellation Calvados Contrôlée. Its intense apple flavours have put it in a league of its own and brought it worldwide recognition. Père Magloire is part of French national heritage and is the oldest and best known of all the Calvados producers. Located in Pont l’Evêque in Normandy, in the heart of the Pays d’Auge.
