CALLE 23 ATOTONILCO EL ALTO, JALISCO NOM 1545 Produced by master distiller Sophie Decobecq, who was a biochemist by trade and worked in South African agave spirits. Calle 23 starts with the careful selection of blue agave plants, sourced from ‘Los Altos de Jalisco’, between the town of Tepatitlan and Arandas. Here, the agave benefits from hot, sunny dry periods, followed by heavy rainy seasons, and a fertile soil, high in minerals. The agaves, take 7 to 9 years to reach full maturity. Calle 23 Blanco 80PF / 700ML The purist’s choice. An un-aged 100% agave tequila, which reflects the purest expression of the 100% agave flavour. Calle 23 is made from agave sourced from Los Altos along with a proprietary yeast. Calle 23 Reposado 80PF / 700ML Double distilled in traditional pot stills. Rested in ex Bourbon oak casks for 8 months, to achieve a well-balanced tequila reflecting a subtle balance between Agave and wood spices, without losing its freshness. Delicious hints of wood, and cooked agave aromas. Managed to be smooth and easy yet truly characterful. Light and smooth, the wood adds spiciness perfecting its personality. Notes of roasted peppers and fresh figs complete the experience. Matured for 16 months in ex Bourbon oak casks to produce a smooth, clean, and vibrant flavor with a hint of smoke. Lovely oak aromas marry together with touches of vanilla and coffee. Seductively aromatic, with sense of herbs and spices. Great aperture of wood, surrounded by multiple taste evolutions in your mouth, with expressions of cracked coffee and tobacco among them. Perfect balance between agave oak, vanilla, and coffee notes. Double Gold SF World Spirits Competition CAMPO AZUL MEXICO, JALISCO It starts with the first generation of agave producers in Casa Campo Azul, around the 1960s. They decided to dedicate their lives to growing agave inside Jesus Maria, Jalisco. Many years later, in 1996, Casa Campo Azul Distillery was inaugurated under the shelter of Productos Finos de Agave. Nowadays, it’s the third generation of the family the one that runs the company, and it maintains their own agave sowings guaranteeing quality. Campo Azul 1940 Tequila Blanco 80PF / 750ML The agave is cooked in an ancestral type of masonry oven for 30 hours in direct contact with steam and continues cooking for another 24 hours for clow cooking down and rest on the pina. This slow cooking of the agave heads ensures a uniform cooking of the plant that gives the beverage more complex aromas and flavors. Nose: Herbal notes and sweet agave. Palate: Fresh agave, citrus fruits, touch of mint and eucalyptus. Campo Azul 1940 Tequila Reposado 80PF / 750ML The beginning of this legacy is born from the red Earth of Jesus Maria, in the highlands of Jalisco, among abundant fields of blue agave and the vision on Don Ricardo Lopez, who thanks to his passion for work and dedication from many years, has made Casa Campo Azul a reference in the art of making tequila of the highest quality. The reposado is aged in American white oak barrels in our cellars. Nose: Presence of sweet agave. Palate: Light alcoholic presence with vanilla and caramel notes.
