Veneto, Italy (LLS) Since 1898 the Poli family has been operating their artisanal grappa distillery located near Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of the Veneto. Today, fourth-generation Jacopo Poli has elevated grappa production to an art form. Selecting only the freshest grape pomace from some of the best winemakers in Italy, he uses a traditional copper pot still, in operation for more than a century! Poli, Po Grappas The name PO’ comes from “un PO’ alla volta”, meaning little by little, given that this Grappa is produced in small quantities. PO’ di Poli Aromatica is a young Grappa featuring an aromatic, balmy taste. Made from Gewürtzraminer pomace. PO’ di Poli Secc a is made from the freshest pomace from Merlot grapes. It is a single- varietal grappa marked by intoxicating aromas of blackberries, freshly cut grass and hyacinth. On the palate it is well-rounded, lively and satisfying. PO’ di Poli Elegante is a young Grappa, featuring an elegant, floral taste. It is made from the marc from Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc grapes. Aromas of roses, lilies and gardenias, with a soft and velvety taste. PO’ di Poli Morbida  is an aromatic Grappa featuring a smooth, fruity taste. It is made from the marc from Orange Blossom Muscat, and White Muscat grapes. Aromas of oranges, tangerines and a slice of pineapple. Smooth, fruity taste. Poli, Sarpa Grappa A blended grappa (60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet) with a range of delicate aromas: fresh herbs, mint, rose petals and geranium. On the palate, it is rustic yet smooth. Poli, Sarpa Reserva Distilled for the first time in 1991 from the most classic blend: Merlot and Cabernet. “Sarpa” in Venetian dialect means “grape marc”, the skins of grapes from which Grappa is made. ...continued
