Charles Medley is a master distiller and son of Wathen Medley. The Medley family has been involved in Kentucky Bourbon since Prohibition, they count many of the most famous names in Bourbon as their contemporaries. Today, the Medley family of bourbons is operated by Sam Medley, son of Charles. The same ideals and commitment to quality remain, delivering unique whiskeys of great character and value. Medley Brothers, Straight Bourbon - 102 proof Originally crafted in the 1940’s, Medley Bros. was the collaboration and love of five bourbon-loving brothers. The same proprietary mashbill of 77% corn, 10% rye and 13% malted barley is the same to this day. Wathen’s, Single Barrel Wathen Medley, grandfather to Sam Medley, started bottling single barrels of Bourbon to sell to family and friends decades ago. Today, Wathen’s Single Barrel Bourbons are chosen completely blind by Sam and Charles Medley (Wathen’s son and grandson) at bottle proof. Only those barrels chosen by both of them to be exceptional, get bottled at 94 proof as Wathen’s.

Old Medley 12 year Less than 50 barrels per year are bottled of this limited production whiskey. After 12 years in barrel, their proprietary mashbill emits hints of banana cream pie, coconuts, and finishes with hints of spicy rye notes.
