MASSAYA LEBANON Massaya is a French Lebanese collaboration that began as recently as 1998. On the Lebanese side is Sami Ghosn, who was the owner of the Tanaïl Estate where the vineyards hail from, which is located at an altitude of 1000 m in the Bekaa valley. Paolucci Amaretto 60PF / 750ML Italy’s most delicate yet flavorful liqueur, both the nose and palate burst with a tantalizing combination of apricot and almond flavors. Selecting only the freshest grape pomace from some of the best winemakers in Italy, he uses a traditional copper pot still, in operation for more than a century! 95pts Ultimate Spirits Challenge, 2017 Poli Liquore Camomila 60PF / 750ML The infusion of real camomile flowers in Grappa, following a family recipe from the 30’s, is what makes Elisir Poli what it is: the result is a floral elisir, sweet and delicate as a meadow in summer. Poli Sambuca Elisir 80PF / 750ML Sambuca is a sweet liqueur based on star anise (Illicium Verum). It is part of the category of refreshing liqueurs of Mediterranean origin, among which there are: The French Pastis, the Greek Ouzo, the Spanish Anis, the Turikish Raki and the eastern neighboring Arak. At the Poli Distillery, Sambuca was produced from the post war period until the mid-1980s. The current growing market demand has convinced us to go back to producing it. The elixir of Sambuca Poli is colorless, with an intense anise aroma, dense, silky, and particularly sweet in the mouth. It may be enjoyed plain, on the rocks, with a coffee bean, as correction for the coffee, flambé or in the cocktails.
