Champagne Laurent-Perrier

Responsible and Committed

Since the 1980s, Champagne has been dedicated to implementing solutions to protect the environment.

Today, the Champagne industry has a goal of having 100% certified surfaces by 2030 in three main areas:

• Preservation and enhancement of land and landscapes • Management of effluent, waste, and by-products • Reduction of carbon footprint

One of the first Houses to do so and as part of its pre-existing environmental strategy for the vineyard and 100% of its plots, Laurent-Perrier obtained two rigorous environmental certifications in February 2018:

• Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (SVC) • High Environmental Value (HEV)

The Group controls its waste production, both related to wine production and product packaging, by promoting recycling, and is a zero waste facility. Laurent-Perrier also strives to minimize its consumption of water, electricity, and gas at its production site . In addition, the House has its own facility to treat waste water from winemaking.
