SARAH PROWSE Four Pillars Yarra Valley, Australia

LETO PARASKEVOPOULOS & SOFIA KARATSALOU Gai’a Santorini & Nemea, Greece Leto and Sofia are the daughters of Gai’a co-founders Yiannis Paraskevopoulou and Leon Karatsalos and make up the second generation at the winery. Leto became Chief Winemaker for Gai’a’s Santorini wines in 2022. She was born in Athens and studied in the UK, where she received degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Sofia has a degree in crop science, and as of this year, serves as Chief Agronomist for Gai’a’s wineries in both Nemea and Santorini.

After studying Wine Science at Charles Sturt University and gaining 15 years of experience crafting wines, Sarah’s journey with Four Pillars began through Punt Road Winery, overseeing the production of Bloody Shiraz Gin and managing grape sourcing. She joined Four Pillars in 2020 as Production Manager and Distiller, becoming Head Distiller in 2024. Sarah leads production of over one million bottles annually, maintains award-winning consistency, and serves as a judge for the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards.

Viticulturist Prue and her husband, fifth generation winemaker Stephen, are the current custodians of the Henschke winery and vineyards, steeped in 150 years of family winemaking history in Barossa’s Eden Valley. Prue’s philosophy is a holistic one — “to ensure our created environment sits in a healthy balance with our natural landscape. I would like to see the next generation inherit a fertile and sustainable land.”

Lucie Depuydt holds a Diploma in Organic Engineering Technology, a National Oenology Diploma, and a master’s in environmental studies, specializing in vines & terroir. During her master’s, Lucie mapped the soil of the Chablis winegrowing region and produced cultivation recommendation leaflets offered to winegrowers by the Chamber of Agriculture of the Yonne, the northern Burgundian geographical department which includes Chablis.

TERESA HEUZENROEDER Jansz Tasmania, Australia

DONZILIA COPETO João Portugal Ramos Estates Beiras/Alentejo/Vinho Verde/ Douro, Portugal completed her post-graduate in oenology from Évora University following a degree in agricultural, food and engineering industries from Instituto Politécnico de Beja. In 1996 she started working for João Portugal Ramos Family Estates and in 1999 she became a winemaker for their property in Alentejo, as well as production, quality and food safety manager. Teresa Heuzenroeder joined Jansz in 2025 as senior sparkling winemaker. With more than 20 years of expertise crafting exceptional sparkling wines, Teresa has a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm, setting an exciting aspirational future for Jansz Tasmania. Having previously worked for the Hill Smith Family, Teresa’s distinguished career includes key roles at Hill-Smith Family Estates, Petaluma, Croser, and Paragon Estates. Teresa continues to build on Jansz’ history of crafting wines that capture the various and unique terroirs of Tasmania.

As a young Burgundian, Célénie Desarbres obtained her national oenologist diploma in 2023 after 3 years of training. An agronomist, very curious about vineyards and passionate about current wine-growing themes, Célénie studied in different vineyards in both France and Spain before returning to Burgundy, vinifying her first vintage at Labouré-Roi with the 2023 harvest. Her expertise in the relationship between winemaking and grape growing enables close collaboration between these two inseparable aspects.

Andrea Agricultural Engineering at the Catholic University of Santiago. She joined the Clos Apalta in 2004 as the on-site Assistant Winemaker. She was promoted to Lapostolle Communications Director in 2009, Technical Director for all Lapostolle Wines in 2017, and Technical Director for all Domaines Bournet Lapostolle wines in 2020. Andrea is the only winemaker in Chile to achieve 100-point scores from James Suckling on two wines. Forbes named her one of Chile’s Top 50 women of 2024. studied
