S lowly • ripened to excellence Located on the left bank of the Pinhão River in the Douro Valley, where the extreme climate allows our grapes to ripen slowly, providing a freshness to our wines. Our grapes are hand-picked from the narrow width terrace vineyards which are grafted with indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão and Tinta Barroca. Our complete line of Ports are still 100% “foot trodden” in traditional granite lagares yielding fine, silky tannins reflected in our internationally recognized wines.
