Christian Moueix joined the family business in 1970, followed by his son Edouard in 2003, who became the third generation involved. He was the key in the acquisition in 2008 of Château Bélair-Monange, Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé, which inaugurated its brand-new winery in 2023, after 4 years of renovation, by architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron.
