CAZCANES TEQUILA MEXICO, JALISCO Cazcanes Tequila is named after the Caxcan ― the last indigenous Mexicans to be conquered by the Spaniards. Their lineup of tequila is based on an old recipe found in a moonshine still in the jungle. It’s crafted with traditional methods, using artesian well water from deep underground and ripe blue Weber agaves that grow in volcanic soil. After the agave hearts are cooked and crushed, they are left to ferment naturally. Then, the juice is distilled using alembic stills. Cazcanes No. 10 Blanco Still Strength Organic 108PF / 750ML Cazcanes No. 10 Still Strength Blanco Tequila is a mouthwatering 108-proof spirit in its handmade glass bottle. Cazcanes No 7 Blanco Organic 750ML / 80PF No. 7 Blanco captures the pure essence of agave, offering a crisp and vibrant profile with pronounced notes of fresh citrus, sweet agave, and just a hint of black pepper. Cazcanes No. 7 Reposado Organic 80PF / 750ML Crafted by Cazcanes Tequila Master Distiller Collin Edwards, this expression is made from mature blue Weber agaves and artesian well water from deep underground. After being rested in oak, the award-winning tequila is bottled at 80-proof. Cazcanes No. 7 Añejo Organic 80PF / 750ML This tequila is based on an ancient recipe found in a jungle still. After the ripe blue Weber agaves are harvested, they are cooked, crushed, fermented, and distilled using traditional methods. After resting for an extended period of time in American white oak Cazcanes No. 9 Blanco offers a more refined and complex flavor profile, with sweet, cooked agave, floral notes, and a subtle minerality. Its higher proof delivers a richer mouthfeel and a long, smooth finish. Crafted in Amatitán, Jalisco, using fully mature 100% Organic Blue Weber Agave from the lowlands, this expression follows the same meticulous process as the No. 7 Blanco, with a focus on preserving the agave’s natural essence. The tequila undergoes double distillation in stainless steel pots with copper coils and is aerated before bottling. Rested in stainless steel vats for 1-3 months, it achieves a robust flavor profile. Cazcanes No. 9 Rosa Blanco Organic 100PF / 750ML Our Still Strength Blanco (54% ABV) was placed in a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, first-fill French Oak casks. It was aged for 31 days and then bottled at 50% ABV or 100 proof. This is a limited edition. This is the only batch that will be made this year. Cazcanes No 9 Rosa Reposado Organic 750ML / 100PF Aged for 82 days, the Rosa Reposado develops a deeper ruby hue and a richer, more nuanced taste. The extend ed aging in wine barrels infuses it with a blend of fruity undertones and a refined wine influence, elevating its complexity and depth. THE MARGARITA VOLCÁNICA INGREDIENTS 2 ozs ElVelo Blanco Tequila 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice 3/4 oz 1:1 Honey Syrup* 2 slices deseeded & deveined fresh Jalapeño *Honey Syrup – combine equal parts honey and water in a pot on low heat, stirring until honey
dissolves. DIRECTIONS
Rim a rocks glass with lava salt, fill with crushed ice and set aside. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake hard. Double strain into rocks glass, and top up with additional ice if needed. Garnish with a fresh lime wheel or jalapeño and enjoy!
