BELLRINGER ENGLAND London Dry Gin #30132664 / 750ml

CARDINAL NORTH CAROLINA American Dry Gin #30134934 / 750ml

Value-priced, high proof, London Dry style gin. Reminiscent of the old formulation of Gordon’s gin made famous in James Bond’s Vesper cocktail. There’s very little “bargain” gin on the market that is worth checking out. The Bellringer could fool you into thinking you were drinking a $30 bottle of gin, easily. The balance is perfect, the botanicals of juniper are lively, and the finish is clean and dry. The best gin yet for the price, and a fantastic deal (up to 40% less expensive than the average!). Double Gold SF World Spirits Competition “Highly Recommended” Beverage Testing Institute

Unique, modern Western-style gin that’s hand-crafted in small batches in NC’s Kings Mountain by the state’s third legal distillery since Prohibition. Cardinal is made from a base spirit distilled from corn with eleven all-organic and wild-harvested herbs and botanicals. Light on the juniper so it doesn’t have that heavy ‘Christmas tree taste’, Cardinal Gin is clear with a crisp, clean finish. 93pts Top Ranked Domestic Gin, Beverage Testing Institute Double Gold SF World Spirits Competition 2012

BOOMSMA GENEVER, HOLLAND Family-owned Boomsma is the most traditional of the Dutch Genever-style gins made from malted barley distillate and a delicate juniper berry infusion. Jonge Gin #30126295 / 750ml Light and elegant... The palate is what sets this genever apart from the average gin: though the botanicals are delicate and subtle, this is a satisfyingly full-bodied yet incredibly smooth spirit. Its delicate blend of botanicals is best savored on the rocks, though it also makes an excellent Martini or Gin and Tonic. 90pts Excellent/ Highly Recommended, Wine Enthusiast Oude Fine Old Genever #30126296 / 750ml A rich, weighty, full-bodied spirit crafted with wheat spirit, malt distillate, and oak barrel aging. While it displays all the juniper notes you could hope for in a genever, it also integrates rich vanilla, apple, and baking spice notes. 94pts Excellent/Highly Recommended, Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2016

CORSAIR DISTILLERY KENTUCKY, TENNESSEE Corsair Distillery is a small-batch,hand-crafted spirits company making“just a few cases at a time.”Their copper still is from 1920 and holds a mere 240 gallons. Their intention is to elevate the ‘craft’ in artisan distilling and provide gratifying, incomparable contributions in the form of delectable spirits. Named “Craft

Distillery of the Year” by Whisky Magazine Gin-Head Style American Gin #30109671 / 750ml

Genever, the Granddaddy of Gin A note for cocktail history buffs: Despite the fact that many of the best gins in the world come from England, the herby liquor actually traces its origins back to the Dutch—specifically their spirit Genever. Like gin, genever is a white spirit steeped with botanicals. Unlike gin, genever has a distinctively malty grain base—its maltiness might remind you more of a much, much lighter Scotch; and though it’s still a clear, juniper-steeped liquor, it tends not to be quite as sharply herbal as gin. — foodandwine.com

Handcrafted in very small batches on a handhammered gin-head pot still. “Light, warm Dutch licorice comes through on the nose and palate, lightened by cardamom and a sweet lemon zest note. Spicy and intriguing.” 91pts Wine Enthusiast

Barrel Aged Gin #30109691 / 750ml

The Barrel Aged Gin is one of their experimental gin products where they age the gin in the same manner and barrels that their spiced rum employs. Look for additional notes of oak, sweetness, and spice. Recommended as an excellent sipping gin. Gold Medal SF World Spirits Competition 2011
