NORMINDIA FRANCE Gin Normindia was created by Pierre, the third generation of the Domaine du Coquerel family, which produced Calvados, Pommeau and cider since 1937. Coquerel Normindia Gin 82.8PF / 750ML The base of the gin was inspired by a recipe of a juniper distillate found in an old family book that dated back to 1765 and was approved by Louis XV—called ‘La Chymie du Goût et de l’Odorat’. Gin Normindia is 100% produced at the estate with 4-12 days of maceration in a stainless-steel vat before it is distilled in the smallest Calvados copper still. There are a total of 15 botanicals, including apple, orange, cinnamon, juniper, and lily. OLD RAJ UNITED KINGDOM A classic London Dry style gin, which has developed an intense cult following. It’s clean, clear, and has a balanced classic style gin nose. The palate has a soft initial entry but radiates with warmth towards the finish. While orange, lemon, and a mild pepperiness kick things off on the palate, juniper with pine and green facets holds court mid-palate. The combination of spices lends an earthy, complex warmth. The gin essence is prepared by steeping botanicals, (juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, lemon, and orange peels, orris root, cassia bark and almond powder) in an alcohol/water mixture for 36 hours then distilling it in a small pot still. It is distinctive in that it contains saffron, the rare, costly spice derived from the crocus flower, which imparts a slightly spicy flavor, and a pale-yellow color.

We distill our celebrated Rosé wine to use as the gin base. For flavoring, we handpick, our Juniper berries between April and July. We also use small amounts of seeds from Anise, Fennel, Coriander, Cumin, and Cardamom, along with Ginger and lime zest.
