SIETE LEGUAS JALISCO, NOM 1120 One of the oldest distilleries in Mexico, Casa Siete Leguas has more than fifty years of experience in the making of tequila by means of a traditional process delivering full bodied, high-quality spirits of refined flavor. Tequila Siete Leguas is steeped in heritage and tradition, Siete Leguas distillery was responsible for producing the “original” Patron Tequila brand, and brand rights were sold to St. Maarten Spirits in 1989. As the brand grew, Tequila Siete Leguas was no longer able to keep up with production, and Patron built a new distillery and moved all production in 2002. Siete Leguas tequila is distilled at two of the brand’s own distilleries, Fábricas El Centenario and La Vencedora. The former employs more traditional methods including the use of two mules to pull the tahona and wild yeast in fermentation while the latter uses a molina (a modern mill) to crush the agaves and their own yeast strain. We use the most mature and sweetest Blue Weber Agave, matched with a blend of spring, rain and deep well water (+450 feet). We use copper pot stills for both distillations. No added flavors, colors, aromas or chemicals. Volans Blanco Tequila 80PF / 750ML Volans Blanco tequila unaged and made from fully mature Blue Weber Agave & a mix of three sources of water – Rain, +450ft deep well, and spring water. It has been oxygenated or aerated. It is a truly enjoyable Blanco tequila to sip slowly. Sweet Cooked Agave, minerals, floral notes, citrus, black pepper, apple, and pear. Cooked agave, black pepper, citrus, smokiness, and floral notes. Aeration helps create a very lovely, rounded mouthfeel. It boasts a breakdown of 40% spring water and 60% deep-well water. Ten percent of the overall expression is derived from fiber-fermented tequila. An enticing medley of green apples, lemon drops, white & green peppercorns, and more. Creamy, mouthwatering sweet agave mingles with a punch of salt and pepper. A touch of almond paste harmonizes with the fruit and spice, creating a bold agave expression. Tapatio Reposado 80PF / 750ML Tapatio Reposado is aged for four months in ex-bourbon casks, two months longer than the law dictates. Tapatio Anejo 80PF / 750ML Tapatio Anejo is a 100% agave Tequila from La Altena distillery, home of master distiller Carlos Camarena. A truly authentic handmade Añejo, Tapatio is distilled to strength and bottled without dilution to retain the true flavors of the spirit. This Añejo is aged for 18 months in ex-bourbon casks. Tapatio Excelencia Gran Reserva 80PF / 750ML Tapatio Excelencia Gran Reserva Extra Añejo is matured for around four years. A variety of casks are used, depending on the batch, including French oak and American oak.
