LA ESCONDIDA CHIHUAHUA Grand Mezcal uses 100% agave espadin (Agave Angustifolia Haw by its scientific name), one of the most prized agave varieties grown in the heartland of Oaxaca, to make La Escondida. La Escondida Sotol Blanco 80PF / 700ML Known as the spirit of Mexican American folks, this Sotol is made from the Dasylirion plant from Chihuahua. Processed similarly to agave but has bright, grassy, and earthy tasting notes. SOTOL COYOTE MEXICO Clan Coyote’s handcrafted Sotol Coyote is equal parts art and science. Relying on centuries of experience, it is one of the few drinks in Mexico that retains its ancestral method of preparation. Every bottle of Sotol Coyote contains the distilled nectar of a single plant which provides a rich bouquet of unmatched flavor. WILD, PURE & NATURAL Sotol Coyote Chihuahua 100PF / 750ML Produced by Maestro Sotolero Gerardo Ruelas in Aldama, Chihuahua from 12–15-year-old Dasylirion Leiophyllum and cooked in a conical stone oven using mesquite wood. It is then crushed by stone and fermented in oak vats using well water before being double distilled in copper pots. This sotol is kind on the palate despite the strong character and has herbal, smoked and mineral notes. Sotol Coyote Durango 86PF / 750ML Produced by Alejandro Solís in Cuencamé, San Antonio, Durango using Dasylirion Cedrosanum. The piñas are steamed with an autoclave and then fermented in wood tubs coated with stainless steel. This sotol is double distilled in stainless steel stills
and has distinctive aromas of hazelnut and almond with notes of butter and yeast coming from the fermentation. Medium intensity and slight minerality on the palate.
