Highlighting the traditions of the native Oaxacan producers, Yuu Baal is The complete cycle - planting, cutting, distillation and production is done manually, with absolute respect for the environment. They produce 100% agave mezcals, Joven, Reposado and Añejo, while also offering mezcals made from domesticated and rare wild magueys from different regions in Oaxaca. Yuu Baal Mezcal Espadin Joven 96PF / 750ML / 1.0L Joven is made from farm-grown agave Espadin and exhibits a nice, soft flavor followed by a refreshing, vigorous intensity that reflects the first years of the maguey plant. This mezcal is made by mezcalero Isaias Martinez Juan in San Juan del Rio. Yuu Baal Mezcal Espadin Reposado 80PF / 750ML Reposado is made from farm-grown agave Espadin and aged six months in used American White Oak. It accentuates intense notes of green vegetation and wet earth, with a mineral smell that is unparalleled and unforgettable. Yuu Baal Mezcal Pechuga Joven 96PF / 750ML A traditional Pechuga mezcal made with agave Espadin. During distillation, a raw turkey breast and fresh fruits are hung in the still. A clear, crystalline mezcal that offers up a nose full of citrus, herbs, fruits, and spices, where at first you can perceive orange, anise, pineapple, and mango. It is a mezcal of a strong yet velvety character with an explosion of flavors on the palate, its sweet touch at the end invites you to have another sip. In its aftertaste you can appreciate the flavor of the turkey breast as well as hints of cinnamon, popped rice and mango. Yuu Baal Mezcal Tepeztate Joven 96PF / 375ML / 750ML Yuu Baal Tepeztate is made with wild agave Tepeztate that can take up to 35 years to mature. Due to the length of time needed for this agave to grow, its very existence in the near future is very fragile. This mezcal has sweet herbal notes of wild plants and cooked flowers. It’s not as spicy as other Tepeztate mezcals, but it is still a unique experience. This mezcal is made by Isaias Martinez Juan in San Juan del Rio. Yuu Baal Mezcal Tobala Joven 96PF / 750ML Yuu Baal Tobala is a well-balanced mezcal that is full of sweet tones and flavors of lemongrass and herbs. There is a distinguished smell of wildflowers, smoked wood, stone, vanilla, clove, peach, and apples. This mezcal is made by mezcalero Isaias Martinez Juan using wild agave Tobala in San Juan del Rio. It is aged 12 months in glass before being bottled for distribution.

PALOMO MEXICO, SANTIAGO MATATLAN, NOM-O20X Del Buen Agave is a collective of producers in the “Mezcal Capital of the World,” Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. They have worked together since 1930 and became an official Cooperative Society in 2006. Mezcal Palomo was launched by them in 2013. Palomo Espadin Mezcal 92PF / 1.0L Made with maguey Cirial (agave Karwinskii) that took 12 years to mature, that were traditionally cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by horse-drawn tahona, and double distilled in a copper still. This mezcal has unique citrus aromas and flavors that are slightly smoked with a bit of agave sweetness. They’re attempting to foster a balanced relationship with nature through craft spirits, specifically artisanal mezcal, using the agaves from their 24,000-acre ranch in Mapimí, Durango.They leave at least 20% of the agaves that reach maturity to do what they do naturally: go to seed and regenerate their population. Ultramundo Mezcal Lamparillo 94PF / 750ML Ultramundo is produced using wild Lamparillo agave. Each plant reaches maturity btw 15 to 20 years of age. Artisanal production, using the traditional techniques from the Durango region, producing an incredibly pleasing flavor profile.
