What is a Single Barrel? A single barrel whiskey simply means that one barrel is selected and bottled in its entirety. When whiskey ages over the years and in different places in a warehouse, each barrel takes on a unique flavor profile; some may be sweeter, some dryer, some softer, and others a bit bolder. To account for these variations, distilleries will blend, or “vat” together many barrels to create a consistent house style. However, there are noticeable and unique differences between each individual barrel, some may suit you or your customer’s tastes more than others. Why offer a Single Barrel? This is an opportunity to select a unique barrel which fits your preferences, your customers’ tastes, or sim ply a barrel that stands out on its own. This is a barrel which has been hand selected by you and will carry your name. Additionally, a single barrel is a limited and finite amount. Once it is gone, it is gone. Offering hand selected, limited availability products drives interest and sales and is something special for your cus tomers, it is a great bit of promotion that will live on long after the bottle is sold. What is the Process? Winebow is lucky to work with several suppliers who have single barrel programs to help you obtain your own unique barrel for your business. Our team can help you choose the distillery and barrel that suits your needs. • Our team will outline current availability and parameters for each supplier’s barrel program. • We work with our partners to provide barrel samples at your business, our local office, or at their distillery.

• Artwork and design specs are limited per each suppliers’ specifications. • Barrel capacity can vary, orders can range from 15-55 six packs depending on the barrel size and yield. • Once the barrel has been selected, timelines vary greatly given processing the agreed upon artwork, finishing details, and logistics of bringing a new product to market. • Once the finished cases arrive, you have the option of receiving your cases all at once or shipping in scheduled drops. • All product must be shipped out of the Winebow warehouse within 60 days from the receiving date.
