FRANCE | Rhone | Campuget

T he Campuget vineyard is located 15 kilometers south of Nimes in the town of Manduel in the heart of the Protected Designation of Origin Costières de Nîmes, in the Rhone Valley. The property goes back to 1753, as evidenced by an infeudation deed that shows that the vineyard was already large for the time. The Dalle family arrived from the northern part of France in 1942 after Franck-Lin’s grandfather got injured in WWII, and moved south on the advice of his doctors, who strongly recommended he spend some time in a drier climate. Since then, a single goal has driven the Dalle family: to produce Great Wines from the Rhône Valley while respecting their terroir. The rolled pebbles of the Rhône, the southern sun, the Mistral, the Syrah, the Grenache are some fundamental elements that make up Campuget’s identity.
