Argyle Pinot Noir showcases the purity of fruit and nimble texture the Willamette Valley has to offer. Fermented entirely in small, 1.5 ton lots and plunged by hand, the wine leans red cherry, pomegranate, and spiced tea. Fresh, vibrant acidity is framed with polished tannin along with classic Argyle silky texture and persistent length. Argyle Chardonnay Willamette Valley Blended between our 4 vineyard sites, Argyle Chardonnay displays the tension of the Eola-Amity Hills, the delicacy of the Dundee Hills, while newly incorporating a small amount of our first vintage of Coast Range marine sedimentary chardonnay. Fermented and aged on the lees for 11 months in French oak barrel, the wine displays lemon blossom, white peach, and mineral spice. Lively, fresh acidity finishes clean, and pure. Argyle Vintage Brut The 2018 sparkling wine vintage in the Willamette Valley was precise, Knudsen Vineyard, protected in the deep volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills, brings supple depth and elegance, while Spirit Hill Vineyard, in the windy and rocky volcanic soils of the Eola Amity Hills, brings energy and spicy minerality. Poached apricot, fresh ginger, and roasted almond are framed around a creamy center and long, graceful finish. Estate Reserve Pinot Noir Predominately based in the volcanic red soils of the Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills, our Reserve Pinot Noir showcases spicy elegance and silky texture. Raspberry, dark plum, and cardamom and an underlying minerality weave with delicate, polished tannin and dynamic energy. Cold soaking and fermenting entirely in small, 1.5-ton fermenters enhances silkiness, while 20% whole cluster inclusion contributes layered complexity, and length. Reserve Chardonnay Grown in the volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills between our 3 sites, Reserve Chardonnay showcases silky elegance and mineral tension. Gentle pressing and long aging in French oak for 16 months allows the delicacy to shine. Crisp apple, Meyer lemon, and ginger are poised with spicy lees-aged texture and energetic length.
