Marietta Cellars was founded by Chris Bilbro in 1978. Chris was inspired by his aunt Marietta hence the origin of the name. This family link carries through the history of Marietta Cellars right up to today. In recent years Chris’s sons, Jake and Scot, representing the second generation, have taken over most of the responsibilities. Marietta Cellars wines are consistent, concentrated, complex and, most importantly, pleasurable. Marietta now owns and farms some 425 acres of vineyards.
