LEOPOLD BROS. USA, COLORADO, DENVER Leopold Bros. relocated operations from Michigan to their home state of Colorado in 2014 to focus solely on distilling. They created a zero-waste facility by recycling water, composting, and other methods. The site accommodates all their fermenters and stills and is home to Colorado’s first distillery malting floor and kiln, as well as a dunnage-style barrelhouse, a tasting room, and education center. Forager Gin is botanical forward, organic, vapor infused gin using botanicals inspired by native herbs found in the Appalachian Wilderness. Works in most classic gin cocktails but can be enjoyed on its own as well. Strong citrus and floral notes on the palate, with balanced undertones of juniper throughout the taste. McClintock Gardeners Gin 86PF / 750ML Gardener’s is a bright and refreshing gin that is botanical forward but still light and airy. This aromatic gin is perfect for lighter gin cocktails and can be enjoyed on its own over ice. McClintock Reserve Gin 85.4PF / 750ML This sipping-style gin is aged in a used XO Cognac cask imported from France for a year. The botanical mix was carefully selected to pair with the extracted Cognac congeners for an incredibly bold and complex gin that drinks more like a Cognac or Whiskey than a traditional gin. Opens with a rich mixture of cinnamon and Valencia Oranges on the palate. Complex finish with light spice of cardamom and cassia with just a hint of delicate French Oak Wood tannins.
