MONTEPULCIANOD’ABRUZZODOP 100% Montepulciano grapes are hand-harvested from the small parcels tended by the many families that make up Codice Citra. The wine is vinified carefully in stainless steel. Frequent pumpovers ensure gentle extraction of color and flavor components. The resulting wine is a deep ruby in color with purple highlights. Classico Montepulciano aromas of wild berry, dried herbs, and black pepper are framed by chewy tannin and bright acidity.

MERLOT TERRE DI CHIETI IGP 100% Merlot grapes are vinified in stainless steel tanks with a long maceration at a controlled temperature. The must is frequently pumped over to gently draw out aromatics and color. The wine is then finished in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and youthful charm. A classic Merlot wine with undeniable Italian flair, the final wine is velvety and supple on the palate with primary aromas of red cherry and plum framed by hints of cocoa and cooking spices.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON TERRE DI CHIETI IGP Cabernet Sauvignon is among the world’s most important wine grapes, and although it can be found planted across the globe, it is excellent at translating the specific character of specific regions. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, Citra Cabernet Sauvignon is produced entirely in stainless steel, which allows the character of the fruit and the territory to shine through in the glass with purity. In this case, the hallmark blackcurrant and blackberry fruit aromas of Cabernet together are complimented by a sense of ripeness and softness that can only come from exposure to the warm, Italian sun.
