BAROLO RISERVA DOCG RAVERA BLACK LABEL Lo Zoccolaio is extremely fortunate to own 1.2 hectares of Nebbiolo vines averaging 30 years of age in the Ravera MGA, which is arguably the most important Cru in the comune of Novello. Lo Zoccolaio’s finished wine from these plots is the result of fanatical attention to quality. Only the best berries are accepted into the winery where soft pressing releases the highest quality juice. A nearly 3-week fermentation is followed by 42 months of aging in second passage Slavonian oak casks of 25HL. An exquisite wine, reflective of a unique site.
