LAGRIMAS DEL VALLE TEQUILA MEXICO, JALISCO Lagrimas del Valle is a Vintage, “Rancho Unico” (Single Ranch) Tequila — celebrating the unique and distinctive characteristics of the very best single ranches of Agave. Lagrimas is produced in collaboration with the Rosales family, of Tequila Cascahuin, led by current Master Distiller, Salvador “Chava” Rosales Trejo - the fourth generation of his family, their distilling tradition dating back to 1904 in El Arenal, Jalisco; within the heart of the “Valley” of Tequila. Lagrimas Tequila Plata El Chiqueno 92PF / 750ML El Chiqueño is located South of the Rio Santiago, near Amatitan, and settled in a low ravine (Barrancas). Its climate is very hot, which has allowed for the growth of mangos and ciruela - a local varietal of plum with bright acidity. The Plata showcases bold and assertive notes of cooked agave, fresh citrus oil, and nice minerality. Every bottling will carry a familiar profile, the thumbprint of Lagrimas, however each will also be distinctly unique in both flavor and aroma. Lagrimas Tequila Reposado El Chiqueno 92PF / 750ML El Chiqueño is located South of the Rio Santiago, near Amatitan, and settled in a low ravine (Barrancas). Its climate is very hot, which has allowed for the growth of mangos and ciruela - a local varietal of plum with bright acidity. The Reposado has a bold and angular profile with notes of canela, ripe mango, and subtle caramel - finishing bright and full with a lightly sweet character. Matured for 3 months in Ex-Bourbon Barrels. The final product is then double-distilled, blended, and bottled at 46% ABV - a proof point that was determined through multiple rigorous tasting panels as the favorite for expression of flavor. Lagrimas Tequila Plata El Sabino 92PF / 750ML El Sabino is located near Teuchitlan, the home of the Guachimontones, a UNESCO world heritage site - the circular pyramids featured in the logo for Lágrimas del Valle. This particular ranch having exceedingly high-quality agaves. El Sabino Plata showcases aromas of fresh mint, lemon tea, eucalyptus, and citrus, and on the palate - minerality, cooked agave, oregano and fresh herbs, with a buttery mouthfeel. What gives our Reposado Tequila it’s wonderful caramel color and bold flavors and aromas is the aging process of at least 3 months in American oak barrels, intensifying its agave flavor and toasted aroma.
