Amaro - Bitters

(by Kirk Estopinal, Cure, New Orleans) Cure is one of the great cocktail bars in America. We all should go there. This little cocktail was created there back in 2009. Nardini is an excellent Amaro, imported by The Winebow Group since the beginning. It’s appropriate that this is a simple drink with simple ingredients, because sometimes being made from the best stuff is enough.

LIQUEURS VERMOUTH AMARO • BITTERS ABSINTHE

Nardini Flip

2.5 oz Amaro Nardini .25 oz Simple syrup (to taste) 1 Whole egg

Dry shake all ingredients for at least 20 seconds, then add ice and shake hard. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass and add a single large ice cube.
