Leeuwarden, Holland The first bottle of Boomsma was produced almost 125 years ago in the northern region of Holland, called Friesland. Boomsma continues to be an independent family-owned business. The fifth generation is now at the helm, thereby ensuring old traditions are cherished and new ambitions fulfilled. Boomsma, Jonge Genever A fresh, young style of Genever made from a blend of maltwine, cornwine, and neutral spirits all made in house, unlike most Dutch Genevers. Lemon and Mandarin oil are used as botanicals in this refreshing Genever, perfect for citrus-driven cocktails. Boomsma, Oude Genever This old style Genever is made from at least 30% maltwine content, and then aged for at least one year in a cask that previously held single malt scotch whisky from Speyside.
