Familia Zuccardi

Mendoza, Argentina (Winesellers Ltd) The Uco Valley at the foot of the Andes, near Mendoza, is a cultivated oasis at the highest altitude. In this privileged location, their vineyards benefit from its cold and dry climate and wide temperature range. The combination of multiple micro-climates, altitudes, types of soil and the care of the vineyard, results in multiple terroirs. Alberto Zuccardi, an engineer, planted the first acre of vines in Maipú, Mendoza in 1963. Familia Zuccardi has continued growing and developing until positioning itself as an important benchmark for Argentinas’ winemaking industry. From his father José Alberto Zuccardi, Sebastian Zuccardi inherited the determination and desire for a lifelong pursuit of excellence.  Zuccardi, Malamado Port Red purple color with light brown hues due to its aging. Very seductive aromas of ripe plums, black fruits marmalade, dried figs and nuts. A rich, complex wine with final spicy notes like cinnamon, toasted almonds and leather. Sweet tannins, silky, full-bodied and pleasant.
