History • Dusted Valley is a family project launched in 2003 by brothers-in-law Chad Johnson, Corey Braunel and their wives. • Chad Johnson has strong roots in agriculture; he is the 4th generation of a Wisconsin farming family. Style • Chad describes the wine as having old world character with the new world fruit for which Washington state is known. Big structure, complex tannins, great natural acidity, dark and masculine. Winemaking • Sustainable practices, minimalist approach. Low yield, total production 5,000 cases. • Varietals produced: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Vineyards • 60 acres of estate vineyard is located on the south side of the Walla Walla AVA in Washington State. • 47% of the vineyards are in Oregon: an estate vineyard on the Washington side (Sconni Block) and two on the Oregon side (Stoney Vine and Southwind) of the AVA. • 1431 feet elevation. Dusted Valley Stained Tooth Syrah 2020 • 100% Syrah • 14-23 day maceration. • 13% whole cluster. • Aged on fine lees. • Aged in neutral puncheons • Alcohol 14.2%

• 98% Petite Sirah, 2% Syrah • Fermented in stainless tank for a 17 day maceration. • Aged on fine lees and racked once before bottling. • 25% new Wisconsin oak puncheon. • Alcohol 14.5%

Total production 20,000 cases • The goal of Boomtown is to over-deliver a very accessible wine from Washington State. • 100% of the fruit comes from Columbia Valley in Washington • The Whites: AVA is Ancient Lakes and the fruit comes from the Two Gun Vineyard • The Reds: AVA is Horse Heaven Hills and the fruit comes from the McNary Vineyard
