Domaine de la Solitude - Châteauneuf-du-Pape • Agricultural: Sustainable. Reserve wines are certified organic in France. • Biodynamically farmed. Certification final in 2022. History • Domaine de la Solitude belongs to one of the most ancient families native to Châteauneuf-du-Pape: the Barberini family. • The Lançon family are descendants of the famous Pope URBAIN VIII. • Located in the heart of the appellation, in the La Solitude lieu-dit, just on the western edge of the La Crau plateau Winemaking • Respect for family tradition. • Minimal use of oak, only 20% max of the wine. Minimalist approach to express the terroir. Vineyards • 38 ha located in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. 30 ha red, 8 ha white. • Average age of the vines : 40 years old. • Terroir : stones and pebbles polished by the waters’ flow. • Sandy soil. Mediterranean climate, dry and hot in summer. ‘’Mistral’’ wind. • No fertilizers are used and the vineyards are farmed substainabily.

La Solitude Côtes du Rhône wines The grapes come from terroirs made of sands and clay-limestone gravels located at high altitude, between 300 and 400 meters above sea level. Cuvée Barberini Rouge 2020 45% Grenache, 45% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre About 60% of this wine is aged in oak barrels and demi-muid for 18 months. Domaine de la Solitude The Estate is a contiguous 100 acres, planted to 86 acres of red grapes and 14.8 acres of white grapes, with vines averaging 50 years of age. Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 2020 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Cinsault • They are vinified in truncated concrete vats. • The wines are then aged for 25% in barrels, demi muids

Vin de la Solitude - This wine is a tribute to our ancestor Paul Martin, who was one of the first French Vignerons to sell his wine in bottles in the 18th century under the name “Vin de la Solitude”. Our researches showed that the blends were very different, where Grenache grape variety did not use to dominate. Vin de la Solitude 2020

30% Counoise, 25% hundred year-old Grenache noir, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% Clairette, 5% Bourboulenc, 5% Roussanne, Clairette rose, Grenache blanc Tasting notes: Elegant and refined wine, tannic while remaining fresh. Vin de la Solitude Blanc 2021 45% Clairette, 20% Roussanne, 20% Grenache blanc, 5% Clairette rose, 5% Bourboulenc, 5% Picpoul Tasting notes: Floral nose with black berries and spices. A mouth with aromas of cassis, bouquet of garrigue. It is an elegant and refined wine, tannic while remaining fresh.

Réserve Secrète 2019 50%Grenache and 50% Syrah A pinnacle of our domaine, plus the knowledge built by all the generations. Cuvee Cornelia Constanza 2019 100%Grenache Noir from vine more than a century old. Produced in hommage to Cornelia Costanza Barberini (1716-1797) the last Princess of the Family Barberini.
