KEY POINTS: 1. For more than 60 years Beau-Rivage has been one of the hallmark Bordeaux brands and a reference point for quality from Borie-Manoux. 2. Beau-Rivage means “beautiful shore” and is a tribute to the picturesque landscape along the Gironde and rivers that feed it, the Dordogne and the Garonne. Throughout geologic history, the influence of those bodies of water created the gravelly soils for which Bordeaux is famous. 3. The wines are 100% tank fermented without the use of oak— producing wines in a fruit-forward, easygoing style meant for immediate consumption.
