2015 BRUNELLO:

Exceptional is the vintage rating for 2015

A collection of world-renowned 2015 Brunello’s from the New Jersey portfolio

ALTESINO The 2015 harvest in general was an excellent year in all areas of Tuscany. A vintage characterized by the health of the grapes, a good degree of technical maturation and the achievement of phenolic maturation.Winter was mild and rainy, allowing the formation of water reserves necessary to face the heat of July and the first half of August. High temperatures blocked the activity of the plants and late August rains were welcomed. September had ideal temperatures necessary to the maturation of Sangiovese. The harvest, slightly earlier than usual, took place on sunny and quiet days from a climactic point of view, which has not happened for some time. 30265138 Brunello DOCG (In Wood) 1 / 3L $230. 30265161 Brunello DOCG (In Wood) 1 / 5L $400. 30265135 Brunello DOCG 12 / 375ml $320. 30265136 Brunello DOCG 12 / 750ml $520. 30265137 Brunello DOCG (Indv Boxed) 6 / 1.5L $640. 30265162 Brunello Montosoli DOCG 6 / 750ml $520. 30265163 Brunello Montosoli DOCG (Indv Boxed) 6 / 1.5L $1,140. CAMPOGIOVANNI Campogiovanni’s vineyards are sited on the South quadrant of the Montalcino hill, where weather conditions and a particular combination of soils favor optimal ripening of the Sangiovese Grosso grape. Campogiovanni Brunello is absolutely classic in style, ageing three years in Slavonian oak casks and in 500-litre ton- neaux, then another 12 months in the bottle. It is recognized for its finesse and for its longevity. 30270643 Brunello di Montalcino 6 / 750ml $280.

CASANOVA DI NERI Our Brunello di Montalcino is the expression of a territory and the specific subdi- vision that it is made up of. Our classic Brunello with its Casanova di Neri stamp and its white label was the first to be produced and is the expression of the most elegant Sangiovese of Casanova di Neri. Cerretalto and Tenuta Nuova are unique expression of Sangiovese di Montalcino, where the terroir defies any possible cate- gorization and classification, offering incomparable and individual characteristics that lead to wines of striking distinction. 30270354 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova 1 / 1.5L $172. 30270355 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova 1 / 3L $396. 30270353 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova 6 / 750ml $560. 30270350 Brunello di Montalcino White Label 12 / 750ml $580. CORTONESI Initially farmed as one single territory, to produce just one wine, in 1998 the family had already grasped the potential of these two soils, realizing that to unite such different products meant to decrease Montalcino’s potential. Hence the idea of producing, alongside the “classic” Brunello that had been produced until then and would later take on the name of “La Mannella”, a new product, a selection originating exclusively from the grapes harvested in the south-east area, named, indeed,“Poggiarelli”. The soil composition in fact, consisting of clay and sand- stone at La Mannella, rocky and rich in marl for I Poggiarelli, made scents, tastes and sensations completely different from each other, and it was at once clear that these differences could no longer be ignored. 30270654 La Mannella Brunello di Montalcino 12 / 750ml $480. 30270655 Poggiarelli Brunello di Montalcino 12 / 750ml $768.
